If you or someone you know needs immediate medical or psychological attention call 911 or the Veterans Crisis Line at: 800-273-8255. The MCCC leaves no Marine behind; however, this is not a crisis service.
Some of the experiences Marines have faced bravely during their service or in civilian life have lasting effects. Roderick Castle is a Marine and a member of the Marine Corps Coordinating Council. He is an experienced human services case manager and a NY State licensed mental health therapist and available to consult with Marines and their families on matters such as: alcohol and drug treatment, utilization of public services (DSS, VA, Social Security, etc), domestic violence, choosing an individual – couple - child – or family therapy therapist, assessing for risk factors of suicide or self-harm, or just someone to talk to when other supports are not available.
Please reach out to him at 585-705-7490 or firstname.lastname@example.org. While not able to provide long term case management or counseling; he will work with you on finding the most appropriate and expedient support in the community.
